Dear Dianne,
Thank you so much for your participation in Science Idol 2012. The competition was a great success this year and we had top-notch entries coming in from all over New Zealand. All videos were reviewed by an independent panel of judges - their decisions were exceedingly difficult to make.
Although your video was not selected as a finalist, I wanted to write personally to thank you for your hard work and to give you some feedback on your video.
This video was simply awesome. Getting the kids involved with all their wild dance moves, only to have them synchronize at the end. Brilliant! You absolutely nailed the scientific content for the age 6/7 audience. Well done. And the repeated chorus does a great job of hammering that message home. Honestly - your video and seeing the kids dance brings a smile to my face every time. Great work! I hope you and the kids had as much fun making it as I did watching it! :)
Sincerely,
